Last movie I saw had 35 minutes of trailers with the movie less than 120min.
I live in Europe but overall, I always am late 20 minutes for a show to arrive when it actually starts. xD
I would too if my friends didnt all go in then too T.T the sacrifices I make for friends
Buying tickets on AMC this week they had a disclaimer. “Picture begins 20-30 minutes after start time”. And I paid 18 USD per person.
That’s why you don’t show up into 15 to 20 minutes after movie start time.
It’s especially frustrating to bitch about because then there are those who will comment “why not just start eating it?” And they don’t seem to understand that there’s usually a perfect amount in the bag/bucket to last the whole movie, be satisfied in your intake, and not crave more. Yet if you finish before the movie ends, you’ll either have to get more and not eat most of it (wasting glorious buttery goodness), being so full on popcorn that you end up feeling sick, or maintaining the munchies mid movie but not wanting salty anymore, but you don’t want to go get more candy because that will make you even sicker by the end of the film. First world problems for sure, but a valid set of problems nonetheless.
I always start eating the popcorn as soon as I sit in my theater seat, and don’t remember the last time I finished the entire bag of popcorn. Once the movie starts, I’m usually more focused on the movie and more concerned with not making too much noise that my grazing on the snacks is cut down by half. If you want to eat popcorn early, eat popcorn early. If you want to wait for the movie, wait for the movie. But there’s no magic ratio shared by all theaters, it’s just whatever pacing you happen to eat at.
Why is spongebob’s nose a dick and nobody notices?
They’ve starting playing legitimate commercials before the previews now. Total ass.
