I feel like I’m turning into “that guy who only posts about his dogs dying” but this time of year always has me thinking about my first guide dog’s passing. I posted the following to another community, but feel it’s probably more relevant here. Guide dog 2 is the same one who passed earlier this year.

In a month it will be 13 years since we became part of each others life…he is a bit slower and not as agile as he once was, but he is still going strong and very popular among the ladies in the neighborhood.
