zweihander

Context: A German 2-handed sword, often used by Landsknecht’s to cast aside (or even break) an enemy pike wall and make an opening for their own forces to move in. The sword features double hand guards, or the addition of parierhaken (parrying hooks). Between these two guards is an unsharpened part of the blade called the ricasso, allowing users to half-sword the sword.

Their face when your half-sword technique still has more reach than most regular swords.
As a lacrosse defender, I think a quick poke to the neck or other vulnerable spot would work well.
As a dark souls/elden ring player I’d say give me the Zweihander.
This thing is long. You gotta cross 5ft of distance and then poke accurately in the time it takes him to finish swinging this thing at your neck.
Yo dawg, I put a sword on your sword so you can slay peasants while you slay peasants.
Double-pay hours 😎
