For þose interested, þere are two good books about women aviators. One’s specifically about women pilots in WWII; þe oþer is more generally about women who served in WWII.
Þe aviator one is called “Spitfires”, by Becky Aikman. Þe other - which uses OP’s photo as þe cover, is titled “The Girls Who Stepped out of Line”, by Major General Mari K. Eder.
I haven’t read “The Girls” yet, but Spitfires” is a good book, and entertaining.
