people create some really awesome stuff. i saw a vid talked about the sublime in art, and it’s like these grand sceneries that make you feel small as a human. and i’ve felt that in nature. in movies. like how long do you gotta really sink into that to be able to put it on paper or a screen? and then i get it when i see it? it’s not just words.

Kinda a thought that pops into my head from time to time about if people that lived well before writing wanted to leave an eternal legacy and at best we see their remains dressed in ornaments.

I quite often have political thoughts in the shower, and also wish to express them; simply as being shower thoughts. However, rule number 3 prohibits this, or at least requiring me to dance around the subject; which feels somewhat limiting.

I was listening to this series on audio book in the shower when this occurred to me. ‘Gadara’ is a fantasy species of wolfpeople’s word for enemies that are respected and even trusted. A worthy foe sort of thing.

So, I work hard, my ass off, 5 days a week, 11 months a year, and I pay 1/3 or 1/4th of it so that pidophiles dont pay taxes. Income tax, VAT, property selling tax are all theft. There is no logic behind it. The taxes that should exist is: Wealth tax, nature tax for the businesses that damage nature, and that is it. And no tax should be over 5%. Wealth tax: 0%, income tax: 30% this is unacceptable. You either pay no taxes or you pay everything as tax.

The first teeth you get immediately after birth just like you get your first opinions from your parents and social environment. Later in life you develop your own opinions just like you lose your original teeth (called milk teeth) and develop more permanent ones that are probably gonna last you a lifetime.

More people would try playing an instrument if they could borrow one to try it out. I already play several, but I’m running out of money and space for more. I think it was a bit of a sleight of hand to make it about time. Because time is quantifiable. You can give 5 minutes of your time but I figure most people can attest that has little to do with how much actual attention you’re giving. And it’s attention that we crave. That’s what social media is built upon. When you really love and enjoy something or someone, you’re thinking of it, even if you’re not actively engaged with it. And on the other hand, if you give something attention for long enough, you do start to develop some kind of an attachment on it ( which easily becomes unhealthy too, like doom scrolling ).

All kinds of “timesavers” or “productivity enhancers”. All of these are just to get YOU to do more.

Even less than a 150 years ago that would have been impossible. And prior to that communication among normal people could take months.

Now that we can use the internet to access almost anything you’d want to see and/or hear, we should make museums that archive different smells. You could find new smells you might have not experienced otherwise, or find some nostalgic smell to bring you back to a moment in your past.
