honestly seems once Sega kicked the bucket on the hardware side, the big names got much more complacent, and that consoles just aren’t a place where technology gets pushed forwards any more.
Maybe steam is an exception to that in that they actually were trying new things.
I mean saying sega survived the war is a bit gratuitous
Sega is still a big publisher. Hell, they remind me of their existence every time I start up a modern Total War game!
